Oh, thank goodness! *beams at you* I sometimes worry that I take a thousand words to say what any other commenter could manage in fifty. But one of the great joys of fandom is the opportunity to speak directly to the writer of a wonderful fic and tell them exactly how wonderful it is. No exorcism necessary; as vices go, taking compliments is considerably less injurious than a seven-percent solution.
I'd bookmarked chapter two, intending to read it as soon as life became a bit less hectic, and then this appeared so I turned to it first. From Mary to Holmes to Watson: two sides of this triangle are drawn so sharply they break the skin. I'm off to read the third.
