I fear that I've been rather remiss in commenting on the past few chapters - real life has been unbearably demanding lately, although that's really no excuse for failing to tell you how very much I've enjoyed this.
At any rate, as I'm sure you're already aware, this is an absolutely exquisite piece of work from start to finish. It's been a wonderful journey, and I can't imagine a more fitting conclusion than the one you've given them - tentative and expectant, poised on the brink of a happy ending.
God knows they deserve it, after everything that's happened ;)
