I did at one point plan "Holmes talks to Mycroft, then Watson" as all one installment... but then Holmes turned out to need two entire chapters-worth of Mycroftly arse-kicking, so, er, I wanted to post and thought I'd see if I could squeeze out another cliffhanger just because I'm mean.
