I worried/worry still that people would be disappointed that this didn't follow them all the way into the bedroom. But it didn't feel right to me to end with a sex scene. I thought we had to stay in the minor key, just with more hopeful lyrics.

Anyway, it's not the sex that's the HEA -- it's the hitting on the head with a dictionary!

(Also it's possible neither of them will have much time for writing for a while)
